A Great Day!
Today, Suzy went down to the cancer clinic to see her doctor. While she was there she got some fluids and got to visit with the nurses there. They're all really great and do an awesome job of cheering everyone up. Suzy felt a lot better after her visit there.
On the way home we stopped at Jack in the Box for their egg rolls because Suzy has been craving them for a while now. She ate 1 1/2 of those which is pretty good considering how small her appetite had been recently.
When we got home I slapped a ribeye steak on the grill, popped some Bird's Eye green beans with spaetzle in bavarian style sauce in the microwave, and made a pouch of instant "loaded" mashed potatoes. Suzy had a bit of the steak, and some of the green beans and mashed potatoes too. She was very pleased with her dinner. I was too. It'd been a while since we had good steak.
Weather permitting, Suzy should be going in to the hospital tomorrow to get a transfusion, and she's going to get another one in a week. It's sort of an experiment to see if it improves the way she's been feeling. Previously, she had received transfusions about two or three weeks apart.
We want to thank everyone for their continued prayers and support. It is greatly appreciated.
